RNE Business Conference in Vienna

On 4 December 2009 the 6th  RNE Business Conference was held at the already traditional venue of Palais Ferstel in Vienna. Based on the positive experience of the past years, RNE placed a strong emphasis on an interactive conference programme, which encouraged networking and gave conference attendants the opportunity to personally speak with the RNE Managing Board as well as RNE staff.
This year’s conference day was divided into two parts. The morning session focused on RNE activities, included the Speed Dating with the RNE Managing Board and a presentation on the impact of the financial crisis on the railway business. During the afternoon session, the floor was handed over to eight panellists who presented and discussed the reaction of the rail industry to the financial crisis.
